COPYRIGHT from Budva invites applications for public competition
for new compositions to be performed at the
MEDITERRANEAN MUSIC FESTIVAL
„PJESMA MEDITERANA 2010“
(MEDITERRANEAN SONG 2010)
The compositions submitted for the Competition must be composed in the spirit of the Mediterranean music and must not be previously published or publicly performed.
The authors applying for the Competition must submit:
1. The written music with included harmonic codes.
2. A demo recording of the composition on an audio cassette, compact disc, mini disc or in MP3 format.
3. Separately typed out copy of the words.
4. All the data on the authors (which must include contact telephone numbers and addresses).
5. Organizer will, in agreement with the author, arrange and pay for the
approved arrangements. The post-production will be realized by the Festival.
6. The organizer guarantees to the authors and performers of the selected compositions their participation on one of the evenings of the Festival, radio and TV broadcasting, burning of the composition on CDs and MCs, presentation in the catalogue of the program, poster, and press releases of the Festival.
7. The organizer will grant awards and Festival plaques for the best compositions.
8. By sending the applications for this Competition, the authors of compositions, arrangements, and words transfer all the copyrights to the Mediterranean Music Festival „Pjesma mediterana“ (Mediterranean Song), i.e. to the enterprise Copyright d.o.o., entitling it to cede, publicly perform, broadcast via radio and TV, and record the selected compositions on sound and image carriers without any remuneration.
9. The works received for the Competition shall not be returned.
The Competition is open up to april 15, 2010.
